Bamboo Care Guide

Handwoven bamboo is a natural, living material. With a little care, your piece will stay beautiful and durable for years.

Cleaning

Wipe your bamboo item with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove dust and dirt. Avoid soaking it in water or using harsh chemical cleaners, which can damage the natural fibers and finish. For stubborn stains, use a mild soap solution and dry the surface thoroughly afterward.

Moisture & Sunlight

Keep bamboo away from direct, prolonged sunlight and excessive moisture. Extremes of humidity can cause bamboo to warp, crack, or develop mold. In humid environments, store items in a dry, well-ventilated area and allow them to air out occasionally.

Storage

Store flat or hang items so they keep their shape. Avoid stacking heavy objects on top of woven pieces, which can flatten or deform the weave. If a piece arrives slightly compressed from shipping, it will often regain its shape within a few days.

Natural Variation

Because each item is handwoven from natural bamboo, every piece has its own unique grain, tone, and character. Small variations in color and texture are the hallmark of genuine handmade craftsmanship, not defects.
